From early planning to the final moments of your celebration, we focus on creating a wedding experience that feels personal, intentional, and effortlessly executed. Planning Timeline Guidance
We recommend reaching out as soon as you begin thinking seriously about your wedding—ideally 9 to 18 months in advance for full-service planning. This allows enough time to thoughtfully secure your venue, assemble your vendor team, and build a cohesive design and timeline. That said, we’re also experienced in working within shorter timelines, so even if your date is closer, we can still step in and help bring everything together smoothly.
Full-Service Planning + Catering Support
Yes. Food For Thought is uniquely positioned to support both the planning and culinary sides of your wedding. Our team can coordinate the overall event experience while also providing chef-driven catering, menu design, and full food and beverage execution. This integrated approach ensures your planning, design, and dining all work together seamlessly under one experienced team.
Regional and Destination Flexibility
Yes. While we are based in the Chicago area, we do support weddings in surrounding regions and select destination locations depending on scope, logistics, and availability. Our team evaluates each event individually to ensure we can deliver the same level of detail, service, and execution regardless of location.
